Weekend Wear: Shemagh Saturday

Hubby and I started the day early... we had breakfast at our favorite low-key breakfast-bonding place: Burger King (we always enjoy either drive-thru or dine-in burgers and fries for breakfast here-yeah loading on carbs that early... or spend time at Pancake House and have waffles, toast, steak, chicken and gourmet sandwiches - oink!).

I decided to unearth one shemagh among the MANY hubby and I started to accumulate since early this year, we stopped waering them when they gained popularity here in Manila a few months back (almost everyone had them on) but now I still find them way too cute to pass-up when I glance at closet's "scarf-area"!

Now this is why I try to avoid taking my outfit posts OUTDOORS... due to my PALE, PALE SKIN TONE! heehee... The sun makes me look like I have no blood at all!

Then we spent the entire day at the mall, doing one of the things we do best together: SHOP! I splurged a bit back in the US in August - I say "a bit" because I restrained myself due to luggage constraints though I hoarded stuff for hubby and baby and then I still ended up with lots of online-ordered stuff which I had to leave and have shipped back here! Then I "advanced" my Oct shopping money back in September (together with that month's shopping money). And then spent waaaaaaaay to much again this Saturday due to Topshop (I received an invite informing me about a Dorothy Perkins and one online alert about Topshop sale) and then there was Zara... and then 3 more pairs of shoes... and many other little finds! Waaaaay overboard my November budget (and I thought imposing a budget would help) !!

Thus, I am giving myself a SHOPPING BAN till end of November!!! I reflected about it for quite some time today and then it hit me... I havent even worn almost 50% of the stuff I have in my closet! And then on many days, I would stay staring at all my clothes hanging or stacked and say "I dont think I have anything to wear!!", because I totally forgot I had this, and that, and new ones, and gifts...crazy....

My....

I think this is an illness...

Anyways...I plan to make use of everything UN-WORN in my closet..wether it be from piles of my impulse purchases or gifts I promised not to be caught dead wearing... (if they fit the Oct-Nov timeframe) --- this is gonna be FUN....wish me luck!
